DAVID CARRADINE

Pues sí, Bill o El Pequeño Saltamontes, o ese actor que véis en películas pero del cuál no recordáis su nombre, ha fallecido.

Los amantes del séptimo arte nos sentimos un poco tristes, la verdad, ya que un tipo tan carismático pereciese de la manera que lo ha hecho, nos da que pensar que no todo es tan idílico como parece. A lo largo de la historia del cine, otros actores y actrices nos dejaron de la manera más inverosímil como Natalie Wood, James Dean o Heath Ledger recientemente.

Pero ¿Quién era David Carradine?
David Carradine, era hijo del no menos mítico John Carradine ( al cuál dedicaremos su correspondiente corona de Endor). David, nunca sintió una atracción especial por la interpretación y siempre le cansaba esa historia de ser el hijo de.

Con el paso de los años, se caracterizó por llevar una vida un tanto altruista y hippie, siempre muy alejado de la interpretación. Pero ya pasada la adolescencia, probó las dotes del teatro interpretando papeles en obras Shakespirianas y en otros títulos como "Muerte de un Viajante". A raíz de este hecho, David comienza a realizar diversos papeples, pero no es hasta la década de los 70 cuando Carradine protagoniza la serie "Kung Fú" que le da fama mundial.

Después, llegaron un sin fin de la películas. de la mano de directores como Ingmar Bergman, Larry Cohen o más recientemente Quentin Tarantino.
